Donna A. Caudell, Ed.D.

Dr. Donna Caudell is a 40-year veteran of education. She has served as a teacher, counselor, and administrator at every level from elementary school through college. She holds an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Liberty University, along with degrees in nursing, counseling, and educational administration. She spent more than 22 years as a professional school counselor and guidance department head, with specific experience in crisis management and crisis team coordination.

Donna began her career as a licensed practical nurse before moving into education. That gives her a clinical foundation most educators don't bring to their work with children and families. She later taught undergraduate and graduate psychology courses as an assistant professor at Truett McConnell University until her retirement in 2025. She continues to teach as an adjunct professor of psychology at North Georgia Technical College.

Donna is a frequent national presenter on mandated reporting and child safety. She has spoken at NAEYC and at the American Camping Association's national and regional conferences. Her academic research includes a published study on group counseling's effect on rural students' performance on Georgia's high school graduation tests.

Donna is a member of the Georgia School Counseling Association and the American School Counseling Association. She has also served as a volunteer and board member with camps, private K-12 schools, churches, and youth mentoring organizations.

"In these courses, I share what more than 20 years of counseling students and training staff has taught me. I hope you leave with tools you can put to use the same day you take the course."
